Private GPS

I wanted to be able to record my progress on my journey without sharing my location with any monopolistic entities or paying ridiculous fees.

So I deployed my own. Lost On Trail uses Traccar, an open source GPS software that allows meto track locations on my terms and share it with only the entities I trust.

This service is provided free to travelers. It installs on most phones and thousands of other devices.
